The person behind the joinery.
Josh works directly with homeowners, architects and interior designers. A commission can begin with a room and an idea, or with a developing set of architectural drawings. The first conversation establishes what needs to be made and how it should work within the home.
His work connects the room survey, design development, manufacture and on-site fitting. Layout, material, construction and installation are considered together so the agreed design carries through to the finished joinery.

A maker-led approach.
The design of a fitted room is inseparable from how it will be made and installed. Proportion, material, construction, access and the character of the property are considered together rather than passed between disconnected stages.
The work includes bespoke kitchens, boot rooms, pantries, dressing rooms, wardrobes, studies, libraries and other fitted furniture.

Made for the building as well as the brief.
A one-off commission can respond to awkward architecture, existing details and the routines of the people who use the room. The aim is cabinetry that works hard without feeling imposed on the space.

Some projects are led by the homeowner. Others are developed with an architect or interior designer. In either case, clear information and agreed decisions are important before manufacture begins.
